Profile	Well, I was born in 1952. I am a working mom with two daughters. Oldest one is married with a family of her own. I worked as the Conflicts Manager/Application Support for a law firm and that kept me very busy. Now the firm is closed and I'm presently unemployed and looking. I love fun stuff like bowling, amusement parks, zoos, dancing, going on picnics with friends and family, goofing around every once in a while. You know, letting the inner child surface every once in a while. I also have a serious side too. I love museums, reading, movies, just relaxing and taking nice long walks, and stargaze. I love sitting at home at my PC and chat with long distance and local friends. Met a lot of great people on the net. I'm also a Trekkie. I grew up with Star Trek. I was 14 when it first began in September, 1966. Fell in love with it and stuck to it ever since. I love all the Star Trek series. I have found that Comic Chat is really neat and a lot of fun. You get to chat with people from all over the world in comic strip mode. If you ever saw a comic book, that's what the chatroom looks like. It's hard work creating and drawing these characters but very rewarding. (The weird part is that I am able to draw with a mouse, but not with a pencil). I've tried drawing my characters on paper so I can scan them in, but to no avail. To draw my characters I use this fantabulous program called Paint Shop Pro version 7. I have a few already drawn and I'm in the process of creating more. The main emotions are laugh, happy, sad, bored, angry, scared and neutral ones. You can trigger a pose by using key words like "LOL" for Laughing Out Loud or "Hello", "Hi", "Goodbye", or symbols such as :-) for laughing or :-( for sad, etc. Then you have neutral poses which are poses that pop up when you are chatting or when someone is chatting with you and brings you into the pane with them. There are over 3,000 cartoon characters to chose from. But there are many creative people who prefer making their own for their personal use. You can also play .WAV files which is also a lot of fun.
