Profile	I am a female freelance cartoonist/Illustrator. Originally from Cairns, FNQ Australia, I moved to Townsville, (Far North Queensland - Australia), in 1992 to do a two year TAFE course in drawing and painting, having been drawing since the age of 7 and had also gone to art college. I also do paintings and have had my first painting exhibition in 1998 at the 'Perc Tucker Regional Gallery'. My first love, however, is drawing! My favorite type of drawing is that of anthromorphic (animals with human qualities). My style has been influced mainly by Manga and Anime shows, as well as Japanese animation and Disney art. I have done several smaller projects in the past mainly on fan-based stuff. "Furfire" is my first proper comic series, which I both write and draw! It is based on a project that I started in TAFE in 1992 that was meant to become a cartoon series. The story continues on from where the original story left off. One day I hope to make 'Furfire' into a proper animated TV series! That's my dream ^_^ - I came up with the nickname 'Venkman Blues' because of my foundness of the Movies 'Ghostbusters' and 'Blues Brothers'! - My favorite musical group is Deep Forest ('Forrest Dreams Studio' was named after them). - My 'FurryArtist' persona, 'Silverfox R' (R stands for Relahstar), stared on Furcadia, which I no longer play. I'd like to also mention My Dad ^_^ - (Furfire is dedicated to his memory) He passed away from Lukemenia in 1995! Unfortuneatly, Mom passed away 5 months later from Alttuide Sickness in Nepal while she was visting there. My Dad was the one, who told me to draw humans! Now I can do both! I am just sorry they never will get to see the comics.
