In 1997 a trip to see the internet at my local community center changed my life forever.

I realised that here was a resource which could be used to make the outside world accessible to those users whose disabilities would otherwise leave them isolated.

With the help of a few like minded friends we set up the #Comic_Chat_Phoenix room and later created our non-profit organization,
The Phoenix On-Line Foundation.
